After careful consideration and thorough discussions, I am thrilled to announce a new strategic partnership with two esteemed financial advisors, Michael Berz and Joseph Sousa. Both bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to our core values: integrity, transparency, and client-centered service.

Michael Berz lives in Bergen County with his wife and son. He studied Economics at Binghamton University and has been a financial advisor for over 15 years. Michael holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, and has completed executive education programs in Retirement and Holistic Planning. He is passionate about serving the higher education community and is very familiar with the NJ Higher Ed program. Michael also leads and is backed by a team of ten financial advisors, providing an additional resource for our clients. As a seasoned traveler and avid runner, Michael brings a dynamic perspective to his work, allowing him to connect with clients on both a professional and personal level.

Joseph Sousa resides in Manhattan with his wife. Before transitioning into financial services, he successfully ran a café called Malachi's in Providence, Rhode Island. At Malachi's, professors from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) were a major part of his clientele. Through serving this vibrant academic community, Joseph built meaningful relationships that provided him with a deep understanding of the financial needs and challenges faced by those working in higher education. While managing the café, Joseph was responsible for overseeing its finances, which honed his skills in financial management and planning. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Economics from Pace University, further solidifying his knowledge of financial matters. His entrepreneurial spirit and focus on comprehensive financial planning make him a valuable asset to our team. Outside of finance, Joseph is a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, guitar, and bass in various bands, which adds a creative flair to his approach in financial advising.
