Scott Pollack
Founder/Managing Partner, Wealth Management
Scott Pollack is the founder and managing partner of Pollack Financial Group LLC, a wealth management firm that has been serving the Montclair community since 2005. He is licensed in New Jersey for life and health insurance services. Among his securities registrations are the Series 6, Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63, from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Mr. Pollack earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning, having completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM curriculum. He also earned the designation of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) from The American College. He graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association and The International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy comprised of a network of professional advisors who are devoted to mentoring local high schools by providing internship opportunities and scholarships.
Prior to opening his firm, Mr. Pollack worked in the financial services industry as a retirement counselor with TIAA-CREF, a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch, and an analyst with The Equitable Life Assurance Society.
Active in the community, Mr. Pollack has previously served in leadership positions of numerous charitable organizations dedicated to his hometown, the arts, health and children's services:
